How confidentiality works
What managers, admins, and executives can and can't see from pulses, surveys, and feedback.
Who can use this: Everyone.
Pulsido promises one thing everywhere you answer a question or send feedback: your identity is never revealed to anyone at your company. That includes your manager, admins, and executives.
We say confidential rather than anonymous. Pulsido's servers can link a confidential message back to you, which is how replies reach you. That link is never shown to anyone, in any screen or report.

The rules#
- Scores need 3 or more people. Pulse scores, survey results, and eNPS only show when at least 3 different people are behind them. Otherwise you'll see "Not enough answers yet to protect confidentiality."
- Nobody sees who answered. Participation shows as a percentage and a count, never names.
- Comments and feedback are confidential unless you switch on Show my name. Managers see only the week it was written, never the exact time.
- Small teams are protected. Confidential feedback from a team of fewer than 5 people (counting its sub-teams) isn't shown to that team's managers. It goes to owners and executives, without the team name.
- If the whole company has fewer than 5 people, confidential feedback is turned off, and the form tells you your name will show.
- Admins don't see results. Admins set Pulsido up but don't see pulse results, survey answers, or feedback, unless they're also an owner or executive.
Who sees what#
| Results | Feedback | |
|---|---|---|
| Owners and executives | The whole company and every team | All of it, including feedback to leadership and from small teams (without the team name) |
| Team managers | Their teams and every team under them | Sent to their teams and teams under them, except confidential feedback from small teams |
| Admins | Response rates on surveys, not answers | None |
| Members | None | Only their own |
Named surveys#
When an admin creates a survey, they choose Confidential or Named. A named survey shows each person's answers to whoever reads the results, and the survey tells you so before you answer with This survey shows your name.
