Connecting your Slack account

Pulsido needs to know which Slack member is which person in Pulsido, so that kudos sent in Slack count for the right people.

Usually it just works#

When your Slack email and your Pulsido email are the same, Pulsido matches you automatically. If you joined by signing in with Slack, you're already connected.

If your emails are different#

The first time you run /kudos, Slack shows Connect your account.

1. Click Connect your account.
2. Sign in to Pulsido with the account you use there, if you aren't already.
3. Pulsido shows your Slack workspace and your company. Confirm to connect.
4. You'll see Slack account connected. Go back to Slack and run /kudos again.

If the page says "That Slack account is already connected to …", someone else is matched to that Slack account. Ask an admin to fix it.

Matching people by hand (admins)#

1. Go to Manage → Integrations.
2. Under Slack accounts, you'll see Slack members who aren't matched to anyone yet.
3. Use Choose a person next to each one to match them.

When everyone is matched, the list says Everyone in Slack is matched.
