Sample launch message

A short announcement you can paste into Slack or email when you introduce Pulsido.

Who can use this: Owners and admins rolling Pulsido out.

Copy this, change the parts in brackets, and delete anything you haven't set up yet.

We're trying something new: Pulsido 🎉

A lot of good work here goes unnoticed, so we're starting Pulsido, a simple way to thank each other.

Join

  • Click Continue with Slack at app.pulsido.com, then Join. Or use the invite link I sent you.

How it works

  • Type /kudos in any Slack channel, or open app.pulsido.com and click Give kudos.
  • Pick who you're thanking, choose one of our values, and say what they did. One or two sentences is perfect.
  • Public kudos show up in #[your kudos channel].

Coins

Everyone gets [100] coins a month to give away with kudos. The coins you receive are yours to keep and spend in the rewards store on things like [an extra day off].

Every [Friday]

[Kudos Friday] runs in #[your kudos channel]. Take a minute that day to thank someone.

Tips#

  • Post it from a person, not a bot. It reads as an invitation rather than a policy.
  • Send the first few kudos yourself, the same day. People copy what they see.
  • Leave out coins and the store until you've stocked it. "Coming soon" is fine.
