Getting started#

How do people join our company in Pulsido?#

Invite them from Manage → Members, or connect Slack so anyone in your workspace can join by signing in with Slack. See Inviting your team.

I signed up and Pulsido asked me to set up a company. But my company already uses Pulsido.#

Don't create a new one. Open the invite link your admin sent you, or sign in with Slack if your company has connected it. If you don't have a link, ask an owner or admin to invite you.

Do we need Slack?#

No. Everything works in the web app, on a computer or a phone. Slack adds /kudos, a kudos channel, the weekly round, and the pulse by direct message.

Does Pulsido work with Microsoft Teams?#

Not yet.

Kudos and coins#

Who can see a private kudos?#

Only the person who sent it and the people who received it. In Slack it arrives as a direct message.

Can I edit a kudos after sending it?#

Yes, the message, for 15 minutes. See Editing or deleting a kudos.

What's the difference between coins to give and coins I've earned?#

You give from an allowance that resets each period. What others give you is yours to keep and spend. See How coins work.

Why did some of my coins get held back?#

Your company limits how many coins one person can give another each period. The kudos still went out, and you kept the extra coins.

Do earned coins expire?#

No.

Surveys and privacy#

Can my manager see my pulse answers?#

No. Nobody sees individual answers, or who has answered. Results only show for groups of 3 or more. See How confidentiality works.

Can admins read feedback?#

Not as admins. Feedback goes to team managers, owners, and executives, and nobody ever sees who wrote confidential feedback.
