Syncing with your HR system

Pulsido can read people details from your HR system every night, so birthdays, work anniversaries, onboarding surveys, and team results stay right without anyone updating a spreadsheet. It works with most HR systems, including BambooHR, HiBob, Rippling, Workday, Personio, Gusto, and many more, through our partner Merge.

Connect#

1. Go to Manage → Integrations.
2. Under HR system (HRIS), click Connect HR system.
3. Pick your HR system in the window that opens and sign in to it, or follow its steps to create an API key.

The first sync starts right away. It can take a few minutes for a large company.

How people are matched#

Pulsido matches people in your HR system to members by work email. Nobody is added, invited, or removed automatically:

• New in your HR system lists active people who aren't in Pulsido yet. Click Invite next to someone, or Invite all. You need the Members permission to invite.
• Left the company lists members your HR system shows as gone. Remove them from Manage → Members when you're ready.

What syncs#

Each one can be switched off. Changes apply from the next sync.

Teams from your HR system#

Switch on Teams to create a Pulsido team for each team in your HR system (or each department, if it doesn't use teams). For these teams, your HR system decides:

• the team's name and parent team,
• its members,
• its manager: the person most of the team reports to, when they're in Pulsido.

Managers matter in Pulsido: they see pulse results and feedback for their teams. Check the teams after the first sync under Manage → Teams. Teams you made by hand are never changed.

Sync schedule#

Pulsido syncs every night at 03:00 in your company time zone. Click Sync now to sync straight away.

Disconnect#

Click ⋯ → Disconnect. Syncing stops and Merge deletes its copy of the connection. Details already synced stay, and teams from your HR system become ordinary teams you can edit.
